Analysing digipacks

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A DIGIPACK? 

A digipack allows the audience to visualise  the re-occurring theme of the artist or group through their CD's and other products to build brand recognition therefore being a below the line promotion strategy. 

I will be taking into consideration all the elements that make up an attractive digipak and the essentials such as:

-Including the record label

-Matching typography to the image 

- Harmonising the colour palette.
